DLC is deposited using a low-temperature (~200℃)proprietary Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition (PE-CVD) process and can be deposited on virtually all vacuum compatible substrates.

Kinik diamond diaphragm comprises not only one convex, dome-shaped film but also one “skirt” along its periphery, which could be mounted onto voice coils . Under irradiation with a light beam, the diaphragm has a good shine.
